President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud discussed security cooperation between Somalia and Uganda with President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.
Both leaders discussed this matter on Friday evening on phone.
During the call, they also spoke about the latest developments in the region that are of mutual interest to both nations.
However, they mostly dwelt on security cooperation between their respective nations.
Uganda has been a steadfast partner for Somalia on security matters. It contributes forces to the African Union Transition Mission in Somalia (ATMIS).
