President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud’s team assumes control of all the Somali presidential communication channels effective May 23.
This follows the handing over of all tools of the presidency on Monday.
Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo handed over all the tools of power to President Mohamud today at a ceremony held at Villa Somalia in Mogadishu on Monday morning.
A few moments later, the Presidency of the Federal Republic of Somalia announced that Mohamud’s team has taken over all communication channels.
Consequently, the new President’s team will be in control of the official websites of the presidency.
His team is also to manage and coordinate all the official social media channels of the Presidency of Somalia.
