Nagaad Women’s Umbrella hosted a two-day workshop for women occupying elite leadership positions in Somaliland.
Most women who attended the workshop work in social affairs, the private sector, international organizations, or independent firms.
Top women lawyers were also at the meeting.
Nagaad said the goal of the workshop was to encourage women to be more involved in their workstations to attain the highest positions possible.
Ms. Nafisa Yusuf Mohamed, Nagaad’s Executive Director, opened the workshop by addressing the participants.
During her address, she encouraged women to pursue higher goals and continue competing for the top leadership positions in the country.
