The National Development Council meeting in Mogadishu has ended.
The federal Ministry of Planning, Investment, and Economic Development convened the meeting in the nation’s capital.
It ran from September 13-14.
On Wednesday, the Director of National Planning closed the second technical day of the National Development Council.
Director-Generals from all the Federal Member States (FMS) in the country attended the meeting.
Mohamed Beenebeene, the federal planning minister, commended the conveners and participants.
Beenebeene, who opened the meeting on Tuesday, reiterated that the emphasis was on finding durable and sustainable solutions for recurrent drought in the country.
He assured all participants that the government would focus on strengthening resilience and recovery.
