The National Strategy for Prevention and Countering Violent Extremism review meeting kicked off in Mogadishu today.
Representatives of the Somali government joined others from the United Nations and the African Union Transition Mission in Somalia (ATMIS) at the meeting.
The meeting, organized by TUBSAN, will review the achievements and challenges the organization continues to face in countering and preventing extremism in Somalia.
The director of TUBSAN and his staff together with ambassadors representing Somalia partners were at the meeting too.
Key religious leaders in the nation are also present to provide their input in the ongoing discussions.
