The National Electoral Commission (NEC) of Somaliland confirms that presidential and parliamentary elections will take place this year in November.
On Saturday, NEC announced that the polls will be on November 13.
According to NEC Chairman Muse Hassan Yusuf, UCID, Kulmiye, and Waddani will all present candidates in the presidential polls.
As for the parliamentary seats, Yusuf added that 10 parties would take part.
Somaliland will be holding presidential and parliamentary elections simultaneously for the first time this year.
