A new batch of Somali police officers left the country to travel to Djibouti for training on Wednesday.
The plane carrying them departed from the country earlier today.
With Deputy Police Commissioner General Osman Kanif seeing them off, it underscores the importance of this training initiative.
Gen. Kanif emphasized the need for officers to take full advantage of the opportunity and return with enhanced skills.
He added that the training will contribute to strengthening Somalia’s law enforcement capabilities.
This type of international cooperation is a positive step toward building a more professional and skilled police force in the country.
