New Labour Minister Survives an Assassination Attempt in Mogadishu

Newly appointed Minister of Labour and Social Affairs in the Federal Government of Somalia survived an assassination attempt in Mogadishu.

Security authorities confirmed that the incident took place on Thursday, November 5.

Duran Farah survived the attack that targeted his vehicle along KM-4 Junction in the nation’s capital.

An Improvised Explosive Device (IED) left the minister and his convoy shocked.

According to security officers, the exact number of civilian casualties remains unknown though they expect several injuries.
