The new Somali National Army (SNA) commander at Qorilow Forward Operating Base (FOB) has promised close cooperation with the local community.
Lt. Harum Hassan made this vow while assuming his role at the FOB.
Recently, the African Union Transition Mission in Somalia (ATMIS) handed over the base to SNA.
The handing over was part of ATMIS’ efforts to conclude the second phase of troops drawdown.
