The newly-appointed Secretary-General of Puntland’s Chamber of Commerce has resigned from his new office.
Abdinasir Mohamud Daad announced his resignation from his position as the Secretary-General of the Chamber of Commerce on April 1.
He resigned barely a day after President Said Abdullahi Deni of Puntland appointed him to take over as the Chamber of Commerce’s new Secretary-General.
It’s still not clear why Daad opted to resign only a few hours after his appointment, which President Deni announced on the night of Thursday, March 31.
