The National Independent Electoral Commission (NIEC) presented the report on 2000-2020 elections to the Council of Ministers on November 4.
Currently, the Council of Ministers is on a cabinet retreat at Decale Hotel in Mogadishu.
Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble invited the new cabinet ministers to the retreat to lay down the strategy for the next 100 days in office.
Roble organized the meeting to also accord several top government officials an opportunity to address their new colleagues.
The Attorney General has already addressed the gathering of the Council of Ministers.
In the last 20 years, Somalia has implemented several changes in its electoral process.
This year is the same as the country plans to hold parliamentary elections in November 2020 before following these up with presidential polls in February 2021.
