The National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) announced the arrest of one of Somalia’s most notorious arms dealers.
NISA arrested Sakariye Kamal Sufi Abba-Sheikh Saki on Friday.
While announcing his arrest, NISA confirmed that they had been trailing the 28-year-old Somali for a while.
The spy agency believes that Saki has been supplying Al-Shabaab with explosives and weapons for years.
Saki’s arrest came just when he attempted to flee from areas where security agencies have been carrying out counterterrorism operations.
