The National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) deleted a tweet it posted on Twitter announcing a surprise visit to Somalia by the Head of Italian Intelligence Agency.
On Tuesday, November 17, NISA twitted the arrival of Giovanni Caravelli, the Head of Italian Intelligence Agency, to Mogadishu.
In the tweet, NISA informed the world that Caravelli held a closed-door meeting with Fahad Yasin, his Somali counterpart.
Yasin is the Head of NISA.
He is also a close confidant of President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo of the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS).
It is not clear why NISA deleted the tweet, though.
