Officers from the National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) have arrested three members of the Al-Shabaab militia group.
The officers, who are from NISA’s armed unit known as Duufaan, arrested the militants on November 15.
They were carrying out a security operation in Mogadishu on Sunday night.
The operation comes at a time when the nation has been grappling with a rise in insecurity.
Furthermore, it takes place just when the East African nation is getting ready for parliamentary elections.
