The National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) warns that Al-Shabaab extremists could target the most senior Somali government officials in a terror attack.
According to NISA, the terrorists could target President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo and Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble.
The intel agency has already briefed the national leaders about this possible attack.
According to the agency, an Al-Shabaab senior operative called Mohamed Mahir is behind the planned attacks.
Recently, Prime Minister Roble informed the world that he has been receiving threats since endorsing the decision to send an entire regional election committee packing.
