Norway has funded the construction of a new road in Somalia. Deyniile Road was opened officially to the public on September 20.
The road leads to Deyniile Regional Fistula Referral Hospital.
Deyniile Road is one of the busiest roads in Mogadishu.
Apart from the road, Norway also funded the installation of solar in Deyniile Regional Fistula Referral Hospital.
The local community also partnered with Norway and NIS Foundation, a non-profit organization, to complete the two projects.
Norway remains one of Somalia’s most important international partners.
