The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has assured Somalia of increased support in the fight against Al-Shabaab.
A delegation from the OIC visited Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre in Mogadishu on Monday and assured him of the organization’s unwavering support.
Ambassador Yousef Aldobeay led the OIC delegation in visiting Prime Minister Barre.
Amb. Aldobeay conveyed greetings from the OIC Secretary-General to the people and government of Somalia.
He handed over a letter from the OIC Secretayr-General to Prime Minister Barre.
In the letter, Secretary-General Amb. Hissein Brahim Taha informed Prime Minister Barre of his organization’s support in the war against terrorism.
