One person was killed when suspected militants raided the house of the Chief of Custodial Corps in Baidoa.
Reports state that the incident took place on February 6.
Apparently, the extremists hurled a grenade into the house of Brigadier General Mahad Abdirahman on Saturday night.
One person reportedly died on the spot.
Several security personnel who guard Brig. Gen. Abdirahman’s house were hurt in the incident.
The injured were rushed to local hospitals in the administrative capital of the semiautonomous Southwest State.
