One person has been killed in the floods that devastated Baidoa early on Thursday.
Initially, reports from the region only mentioned the floods but no casualties.
However, as the day progressed, it quickly emerged that a person had died in the floods.
The floods are the product of heavy rains that rocked the city the entire night.
