One person was killed in the ongoing protests in Beledweyne.
Sources indicated that he was killed in protests over the arrest of Gen. Sheegow Ahmed Ali on Saturday.
Gen. Sheegow was arrested following clashes between the police and militia sympathetic to Gen. Sheegow.
The protestor shot and killed in Beledweyne is yet to be identified.
Nevertheless, he was the second person to be shot in the protests held in support of Gen. Sheegow, a former Somali National Army (SNA) officer.
