The ongoing drought in Somalia has killed more than 2.6 million livestock.
The Emergency Operation Center in the Office of the Prime Minister published the latest figures on the effect of the drought.
According to the Center, the drought has impacted several sectors of the economy in the country in the last 10 months.
For instance, it has affected 6,995,070 people around Somalia.
Additionally, it has also affected 15,367,779 livestock in the same period.
Sadly, the ongoing drought has left 2,685,079 livestock dead since November 2021. Around 823,766 have been displaced from their homes too.
The Emergency Operation Center published its latest report on Thursday, July 28.
