Somalia’s coalition of opposition parties has blasted the decision by the Federal Parliament to pass a no confidence motion against Prime Minister Hassan Ali Khaire.
The Forum for National Parties (FNP) hit hard at parliament’s vote of no confidence against Khaire calling the move “disruptive.”
Further, FNP indicated that the move would destroy the Dhusamareb deal that Federal Government of Somalia and Federal Member States are trying to broker.
FNP released a hard-hitting statement against the move, which has shocked the entire country as well as Somalia’s international partners.
The coalition’s leadership has urged Somalis and all stakeholders to watch out for the push for illegal term extension being driven by President Mohamed Farmaajo.
