An opposition presidential candidate has won parliamentary elections in the regional state of HirShabelle.
Abdulkadir Osoble won the polls held for HOP#104 seat.
Osoble won the elections carried out on Monday, April 12.
Consequently, Osoble has won the right to represent his constituents for his second term at the House of the People (Lower House) in Mogadishu.
He’s now set to travel to Mogadishu to receive his certificate of recognition from the Federal Elections Implementation Team (FEIT).
Osoble is also one of the candidates for the upcoming presidential elections.
He would be vying for the presidential seat on the ticket of the Ilyas Party.
