The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) announced this on Sunday.
In the report issued over the weekend, OCHA cites a number of factors that will cause this.
Such factors include food insecurity and displacement. The global organization added that climate shocks and general insecurity would worsen the situation further.
