More than 10 trucks carrying food to central Somalia have departed Mogadishu. The trucks left the nation’s capital on Thursday, November 10.
They are full of relief food and other essential supplies.
The trucks are expected to carry hundreds of bags of food and non-food items to two villages in Central Somalia.
The villages in question are Masjid Ali Gadud and Adale.
Federal government officials who waved the trucks off said the food and non-food supplies carried are for victims affected by the ongoing drought and conflicts.
