More than 7 million children in Somalia, Ethiopia, and Kenya are malnourished.
The United Nations published its latest statistics on the number of malnourished children in the three countries on June 16.
In its latest report, the UN says that malnutrition rates in the region keep rising at an alarming rate.
UN attributes this increase to the persistent drought in the Horn of Africa region.
The region has experienced failed rains in consecutive seasons over the last couple of years, a problem that is down to global warming.
