Police officers have arrested a woman accused of torturing a young girl in Mogadishu.
The woman was caught on video torturing a baby girl. The video then went viral forcing authorities to act fast.
Sadik Duudishe, the official spokesperson of the Somali Police Force (SPF), said that the woman in the video that was circulated on social media is now in police custody.
SPF officers arrested the woman on Saturday, September 24.
In the video, the woman is seen mercilessly torturing the young girl in a despicable and inhumane manner.
