A police commander lost his life in an inter-clan conflict in Middle Shabelle.
Abdulkadir Mohamed Hashi Juqlawe, a commander of the Somali Police Dervish Army, was killed in the conflict that broke out in the region on Monday morning.
Somali Police Force (SPF) officials confirmed the incident.
They added that the commander died in the clashes that rocked Haji Area on Monday.
Local authorities launched investigations into the exact cause of the clashes and the circumstances that led to Juqlawe’s killing.
