Police have launched investigations into a blast that left three passengers in Kismayo with severe injuries.
According to sources, an improvised explosive device (IED) exploded in Kismayo, the administrative capital of Jubbaland on Friday, August 26.
Three passengers who were traveling to Yaqhalul were injured when their car hit the roadside bomb.
Immediately, security officials arrived at the scene and cordoned off the area.
It is believed that the person who planted the IED bomb in the area took off.
However, police have launched investigations with a view to bringing the perpetrators to book as soon as possible.
No group or individual has claimed responsibility for the incident.
