A police officer has been shot dead in Mogadishu.
Reports from Somalia’s capital city indicate that unknown gunmen accosted and shot the policeman dead in Mogadishu’s Daynille district on Thursday, July 28.
The identity of the police officer has been revealed as Ali Hassan Said.
Said’s colleagues collected his body, which they then took to the CID Headquarters in Mogadishu a few moments later.
It’s not yet clear why the gunmen shot and killed the officer.
