President Muse Bihi Abdi hosted a British Member of Parliament (MP) who campaigned for the sovereignty of Somaliland.
MP Sir Gavin Williamson is currently in Somaliland on an official visit.
He has been on the frontline in leading his fellow parliamentarians back in Britain in fighting for the recognition of Somaliland as an independent country.
President Bihi received Sir Williamson in his office on Monday.
Sir Williamson is in Hargeisa for discussions with President Bihi on ways of fostering relations between Somaliland and Britain.
Bihi expressed gratitude to Sir Williamson for promoting Somaliland’s cause internationally.
