President Muse Bihi Abdi of Somaliland has traveled to Kenya on an official visit.
Bihi’s plane arrived in Kenya on Sunday, December 13.
He is expected to hold a series of high profile meetings with senior officers in the government of President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Bihi is in Kenya on his first official visit to the East African country since assuming power in October 2017.
In recent times, Somaliland has sought to build strong diplomatic ties with Kenya.
The strengthening of ties with Kenya seems to be part of Somaliland’s goal of seeking international recognition.
