President Muse Bihi Abdi has made changes in his administration after sacking the Deputy Minister of Transport and Roads Development.
Consequently, he announced that the new Deputy Minister of Transport and Roads Development would be Mohamed Abdi Mohamed Samatar.
Samatar takes over from the sacked Sahal Mohamed.
Similarly, Bihi also reshuffled several Director Generals across different ministries while announcing a new one too.
Mohamed Hassan Dirir takes over as the new Director General in the Ministry of Water Development.
The Ministry of Planning and National Development has a new Director General in Ahmed Abdi Ismail Aqli.
Further, Bihi has appointed Mubarak Abdillahi Ibrahim as the new Director General in the Ministry of Defense.
Mohamed Geedi Ainanshe becomes the new Director General in the Civil Service Commission while Hamsa Suldan Adan Farah is the new Director General in the Quality Control Commission.
Bihi’s office released a terse press statement listing the changes made in his administration.
