President Said Abdullahi Deni of Puntland has traveled to Baidoa for a meeting with President Abdiaziz Mohamed Lafta-Gareen of Southwest state.
Deni traveled to Southwest’s administrative capital on Wednesday.
Puntland’s leader recognized the cooperation the two semiautonomous states have developed in tackling various issues for long.
A few of the issues they have worked closely together to solve include federalism and state building.
Puntland and Southwest leaders have also cooperated on reconciliation efforts.
