President Said Abdullahi Deni led a delegation of top government officials to visit the Republic of Djibouti on Thursday.
During the official visit, Puntland’s Deni is scheduled to hold meetings with Djibouti’s President Ismail Omar Guelleh.
The two leaders and their delegations are expected to discuss several issues of mutual importance and benefit.
Among these is the need for strengthening collaborations and partnerships between Puntland and Djibouti.
Further, their discussions would also center on development, trade, and investments.
At the moment, the Office of Puntland’s President has not announced how long the visit is likely to last.
Nevertheless, it might be over by August 15 when the second round of the Dhusamareb talks between Federal Government of Somalia and Federal Member States are expected to kick off.
