President Said Abdullahi Deni of Somalia’s semiautonomous region of Puntland visited several infrastructure sites in north-central Djibouti.
Deni, who arrived in Djibouti on August 12, spent his second day of the official visit touring several infrastructure sites in the city of Tadjoura.
He announced that the visit was to exchange experiences and ideas on infrastructural development with his counterparts in Djibouti.
Furthermore, Deni said he hoped to learn about the public services that the government of Djibouti under President Ismail Omar Guelleh has initiated.
Deni visits Djibouti at a time when the next round of Dhusamareb talks are scheduled to kick off this weekend.
