President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud delivered a message of compassion to Somali refugees in Djibouti.
Mohamed Beenebeene, the federal Minister of Planning, Investment and Economic Development, delivered the message on behalf of President Mohamud.
Beenebeene was in Djibouti on Sunday.
Djibouti is home to tons of Somali refugees.
The refugees he spoke with welcomed his message. They expressed gratitude to Beenebeene and the President for a message that fostered a sense of hope and solidarity among them.
Beenebeene was with the refugees at Ali Addeh town.
