President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud invited all Somali ambassadors to Villa Somalia for a briefing.
The meeting between President Mohamud and the ambassadors took place on Monday, June 13 at the Presidential Palace in Mogadishu.
Somali diplomats reported for the meeting from various stations around the world.
They were meeting with President Mohamud for the first time since he won the presidential elections held on May 15.
During the meeting, Mohamud urged the diplomats to work diligently for the good of the nation of Somalia.
The ambassadors also took the opportunity to brief the President on their work.
