President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud met with Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) Executive Director Dr. Workneh Gebeyehu at Villa Somalia.
They discussed reinforcing the partnership between Somalia and IGAD during Monday’s meeting.
Their discussions focused on advancing regional peace and security, as well as addressing pressing challenges such as climate resilience, food security, and economic development.
Both leaders emphasized the importance of collaboration to tackle these issues and promote stability and progress in the region.
