On Wednesday, President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud presided over a graduation ceremony at the Colonel Hassan Ture Military Academy in Balidogle for officers of the Somali National Army’s elite Commandos, known as DANAB.
This event highlights the government’s ongoing efforts to strengthen the capacity of Somalia’s security forces in the fight against terrorism, particularly against Al-Shabaab.
President Mohamud congratulated them for undergoing the training and graduating successfully.
DANAB commandos are known for their specialized training and play a critical role in counterterrorism operations undertaken across the country.
