President Abdulaziz Hassan Mohamed (Lafta-Gareen) of Somalia’s Southwest State has appointed a committee to solve the endless tribal clashes in Wanlaweyn Town.
President Lafta-Gareen has vowed to ensure that all perpetrators are held accountable for their roles in fermenting acrimony in the region.
Furthermore, President Lafta-Gareen has directed the regional machinery responsible for the security of the state to double its efforts in ensuring that peace prevails once again.
A statement from the Office of the President says the peace committee will start its work immediately to find solutions for the disharmony that exists between the warring parties.
