President Qoor Qoor has signed Galmudug’s 2020 Budget.
Recently, Galmudug’s cabinet ministers approved the budget. The only thing remaining was the president’s signature.
The signing took place in Dhusamareb. Apart from the president, the Vice President also attended the event.
The Speaker of Parliament and others were at the event too.
As the Galmudug event went ahead, it was a clear demonstration of the increasing bond between the executive and legislative arms of the government.
Galmudug’s 2020 budget stands at $17,200,034. It has increased by 50 percent from last year’s total of $8 million.
