Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble attended a security meeting organized by the Banadir Regional Administration (BRA) on April 22.
Roble was in the company of Omar Filish, who doubles as the Mayor of Mogadishu and Governor of Banadir Region.
The ministers in charge of the security and interior dockets also accompanied Prime Minister Roble.
The security meeting took place at the headquarters of the Banadir Regional Police.
In recent days and weeks, the region has witnessed an increase in insecurity. The situation has left residents and government officials worried.
This was among the first public engagements by the Prime Minister since the Lower House extended President Mohamed Farmaajo’s term in office by two more years.
