Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre commended Sweden for the role that it plays in promoting human rights in Somalia.
The Prime Minister praised the European nation when he held talks with Anders Hall, Sweden’s State Secretary in the Ministry of Justice.
Hall, who is on an official visit to Somalia, visited the Prime Minister on Monday.
Furthermore, the Prime Minister hailed Sweden as one of the largest donors and partners to the East African nation.
Other sectors in Somalia that have benefited from Sweden’s input include democracy and equal health.
Over the years, it has supported peacebuilding in Somalia too.
Recently, Somalia has received increased support from Sweden in areas such as the environment, climate change, and renewable energy.
