Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre has ordered security agencies and agents to be on high alert in Mogadishu.
He spoke after his recent meeting and discussions with officials from the Benadir Regional Administration (BRA).
Ministers and security leaders attended the discussions too.
Prime Minister Barre called for improved security awareness in the wake of the ongoing military operations against Al-Shabaab insurgents.
