President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud chaired a security meeting on Benadir Region on Wednesday.
During the meeting, President Mohamud and other senior government officials discussed ways of bolstering security in the region.
Leaders present at the meeting in Villa Somalia included Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre.
Military leaders and Mayor Yusuf Jimale of Mogadishu, who also serves as the Governor of the Benadir Regional Administration, were also present.
Security officers briefed him on their plans and the latest reports from the region.
