Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre has launched the Somali National Youth Conference.
He declared the conference officially opened on Saturday.
The Prime Minister delivered a speech emphasizing the government’s prioritization of security.
“The youths have an important role to play in the security of our country,” Barre said.
His speech tackled various issues such as terrorism, drug abuse, and corruption.
Prime Minister Barre asked young Somalis to join the fight against these vices.
