Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble convened and chaired a meeting of the Security and Justice Committee (SJC).
Roble hosted the meeting at the Office of the Prime Minister in Mogadishu on Tuesday, December 1.
Several representatives from the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS), Federal Member States (FMS), and Somalia’s international partners attended today’s meeting.
The Prime Minister mentioned that participants agreed to “advance security and the rule of law in Somalia.”
Furthermore, he also commended the achievements made by security agencies in the country and Somalia’s partners.
During the meeting, participants identified gaps in provision of security and justice for all.
They also deliberated on the actionable solutions the country needs to implement while refining the ongoing reforms.
