Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble has directed security agencies in Mogadishu to reopen Dabka Road with immediate effect.
Roble issued a directive to this effect on February 14.
On Sunday, Roble ordered the reopening of the road, which he described as a “lifeline” for the movement of people in the nation’s capital.
Moreover, Roble also said that the road is crucial for businesses in Mogadishu.
In the meantime, he commended the people of Mogadishu for being patient during the time when the road was closed.
Moreover, he called upon the relevant agencies to work together to ensure that the people of Mogadishu live in a secure and safe city.
