Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble toured and inspected several public hospitals in Mogadishu on Sunday, October 11.
Roble was accompanied by Dr. Fawziya Abikar Nur, the country’s Minister of Health and other top health officials from the ministry.
The newly approved Prime Minister mostly limited himself to public hospitals in the Banadir Region.
He also toured De-Martino Hospital, the only public health facility in Somalia fitted with state-of-the-art technology and topnotch medical practitioners to curb the spread of COVID-19.
During his inspection tour, Prime Minister Roble expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Health for the free health services it has been providing to needy people in Mogadishu.
He assured the residents that the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) would continue partnering with other international bodies to provide them with quality healthcare.
